Company Background

Aloha Technologies was founded in 1992 and created the first Windows-based restaurant POS system. The first installation was at a Bennigan's in Plano, Texas. In 2003-2004, Aloha was acquired by Radiant Systems, which was in turn bought by NCR Corporation in 2011 for $1.2 billion.

In October 2023, NCR split into two publicly traded companies: NCR Voyix (NYSE: VYX, restaurant and retail technology) and NCR Atleos (ATM/banking). Aloha POS now sits under NCR Voyix, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with around 15,000 employees across 35 countries.

NCR was named the world's largest restaurant POS software vendor in 2022 (RBR Global POS Software Report). The Netherlands is the second-largest market for Aloha POS after the US, with around 459 customers. Notable customers worldwide include Buffalo Wild Wings, Raising Cane's and California Pizza Kitchen.

Customer Story

"From enterprise POS to pay-per-order"

"We were locked into a 3-year contract with an enterprise POS. Monthly costs were high and we had to use expensive proprietary hardware. With Hebtrek Connect we only pay per order, we use our own laptops, and we have the Naavi app for our drivers. No contract, no surprises."

Ready for a More Flexible Solution?

No proprietary hardware. No long-term contracts. No hidden fees. Hebtrek Connect: pay only per order.

More than a POS: your own ordering platform too

Aloha sells you a cash register. Hebtrek gives you a cash register plus a place where guests actually order: hebtrek.nl, the Dutch ordering platform behind Hebtrek Connect.

There are no monthly fees and no setup costs. You only pay commission on the orders that actually come in: 8% when you deliver yourself and 28% when a Hebtrek courier rides the order. A quiet week simply costs less, because there is no subscription running in the background.

Orders from hebtrek.nl land in the same POS as your table orders, counter orders and delivery channels. One menu, one receipt printer, one revenue report. Nothing has to be maintained twice.

  • No monthly fees, no contract term
  • 8% commission with your own delivery
  • 28% commission including a Hebtrek courier
  • Orders straight into your Hebtrek Connect POS
